A reliable source within Ethiopian security anonymously released: "There is a clandestine operation between Ethiopia and the USA to label the TPLF as a terrorist organization. It is led by a committee formed through the US Embassy (i.e. CIA) in Ethiopia in collaboration with two senators involved in security in the horn of Africa."
