Stop hating on the guy that gave us access to everything we have in Ethiopia. All the things you brag about were probably a result of him. Amhara's live on their pride, they have it 3 times a day but what when they stop eating what is given and work for the better good of Ethiopia? Singing Ethiopia, Ethiopia, Ethiopia hagere doesn't make any difference. What have Amhara actually done on the ground for Ethiopia?

That statement doesn't mean he will actually do it, requires deep analysis and symbolism to understand. What he means is we have the complete power to deport anyone that is Eritrean (take the context during the Ethio-Eritrea war). This is completely fair and acceptable, how can we live when the enemy is living within our walls, these Eritreans voted for independence, so why don't they go and use it? Instead of using our resources and existing infrastructure, remember at the time (1998-2000).

At the time you were probably a fence sitter - you hated Eritreans but you also hated the TPLF so you were with Shabia as a servant against TPLF/Ethiopia - your own national interests. There is no use of putting Bob Marley or Haile Sellasie into these, it doesn't even add value into your argument.

Legesse (Meles) Zenawi was pro-Eritrea and actively supported the secesionof Eritrea from Ethiopia as president and later PM of Ethiopia. He sai that to appease the Amhara anti-Eritrea group who were calling for war. In reality neither Meles nor any Tugrayan beleive in such things. Tigrayans sees "Eritrean" as Tigrayans. The name Eritrea is fake. We support the secession of Eritrea from Ethiopia, but Eritrea should have another name and should unite with Tigray.

It is neither fair nor acceptable. They weren't soldiers they many were Ethiopian civilians who happen to be of Eritrean decent/origin. These weren't homeless or poor people who depended on the Ethiopian government. They were people who paid their taxes, had successful business and were professionals contributing to Ethiopia. They helped build Ethiopia. What Meles and the TPLF demonstrated (and what you are saying now) is that the war was against the very people of Eritrea. His and the TPLFs enemies weren't the leadership it was the whole of the Eritrean people.

To this day, many properties of Eritreans are still fictiously transferred over to TPLF cadres that have fled back to mekele since the rise of PM Abiy! Those TPLF cadres are upset that they can't stay in stolen houses...hahaha! The shame of their thinking!

Some of these TPLF clowns are stating that "PM Abiy stole our properties in Addis Ababa and throughout Ethiopia" of which they stole from Eritreans they deported in the Badme war at the request of TPLF (not even the entire EPRDF was behind the deportation).

During the deportation of many Eritreans, the Amhara/Oromo (non-Tigrayans) were helping the Eritreans get through and in some cases...Amhara and Oromo neighbors/friends took over properties for Eritreans to get back at a later date if at all!... This all happened, TPLF is a shameful group of liars and thieves!

I'm against any Crimes against Humanity and the Crime committed by TPLF against Eritreans (myself included) is very much Equal to the Crimes Committed by Dergue and Haile Selassie regime Against Eritreans (myself included):

My father knew we were next. “They’re going to come for us,” he’d say, after Meles Zenawi, then the prime minister of Ethiopia, told the country on national television in July 1998 that Eritreans weren’t welcome. “If the Ethiopian government says, ‘We don’t like the color of their eyes, and get out,’ ” Zenawi said, “then they should get out.

Although wasn't it the same Eritreans that voted for independence, the same Eritreans shouting "Abelynado ta agame" across the streets of Asmara after bombing a school in Mekelle. Those kids were innocent, not like the Eritreans who were in Ethiopia facing deportation. This is just a statement said by Meles, why are we taking it out of context, it is clear that Eritreans were seen as common enemies and should be kicked out. It is acceptable that if someone is from the same place as your enemy, he or she is more likely to be associated with the enemy, or favourable to the enemy. This principle is clear and acceptable, it would obviously require the removal of that person, and Meles exercised that with the deportation of Eritreans. Regardless you can't deny they did consume government resources that could have gone to other Ethnic Ethiopians. Don't take this statement out of time and context, it is completely acceptable when considering the time and circumstances. Imagine being Ethiopian in Eritrea at the time?

This statement by Meles maybe just pure emotion. The Ethiopian Embassy in Asmara at the time stated people who:
- "have served the Eritrean government";
- performed national service in Eritrea,
- are members of the EPLF or Eritrean community groups,
- have raised funds for Eritrea;
- "have helped Eritrea in any way", or
- "have participated in activities in Eritrea"
Will be deported

Do you have any proof of the highlighted? Further, I'm not taking Meles out of context. I am saying that Meles, the TPLF and every supporter waged war not with the Eritrean government or the leadership but with the people of Eritrea. You seem to agree with me on this. Were we disagree is whether it was a good thing or a bad thing. I happen to believe that targeting civilians is an evil act, you clearly don't. You think that just because someone is Eritrean or is an Ethiopian of Eritrean decent it is okay to deport them regardless of whether they are tax paying and contributing citizens of Ethiopia.

Whats stranger to me is, you clearly can distinguish the difference between a civilian and a combatant. You say the people bombed in Mekele were innocent but Eritreans who were born and raised in Ethiopia, who have no idea what Eritrea was are not? That they should be and were rightfully deported? Its "fair and acceptable" to have them torn from their families, their friends, the life they know was? Good thing, there were many other Ethiopians, especially the Amhara, Oromo and other people that disagree and helped those innocent civilians. Even better that these noble people are the majority of Ethiopia and not TPLF and their Tigrayan supporters. It means that there is hope for a lasting peace between the two countries.

Imagine being Ethiopian in Eritrea at the time?
There were Ethiopians in Eritrea at the time, a great many Tigrayans came to Eritrea during the Haile and derg era. Despite the numerous collaborates during the independence war no action was taken again civilians. And I'm not aware of any mass deportation of these people from Eritrea during the border war. Could you point me to some articles? Or perhaps a speech by Isaias regarding Ethiopians or Eritreans of Ethiopian decent on the level even approaching Mele's speech?

You are talking meles out of context. That video clearly shows you, i didn't just make that up. Both sides launched war on both people.
Didn't the Eritreans wash the streets of Asmara and say we are cleaning it from the Agame?

If you can't handle the heat don't play with fire!
You were the first to send planes to bomb Asmera luckily eplf knew your jealousy nature so they ericted anti aircraft all over Asmera, and shot down one or two before they bomb your evil base. Bombing schools is unacceptable but war is like wildfire it doesn't differentiate bn green and dry trees.
Please keep hating our eyes color, and stop claiming we are one ppl whenever you get cornered.

You are telling me about fire? What happen when those 2 planes bombed massawa military base? the Eritreans couldn't handle the heat. trucks came without water, and then they had to run to a river for water. Obviously, you can't handle the heat, and the whole town of Massawa couldn't as-well.

Firstly, the war was not started with us flying planes. Also did you forget operation sunset? The war was started with Eritrea sending tanks, merchandised units, and infantry into Irob and Sherraro area. They fought with the local militia, but they could no longer handle it. Then Ethiopia mobilized its troops and headed north. On two front Ethiopian went deep into your territory, one offensive when west reaching Keren, while the one when around to Senafe. Asmara was cornered. We used the same techniques are our fathers against the derg 'korestza'.

who ever post this i want to tell u one thing

when Eritrean voted to become Eritrean they lost their green card in Ethiopia they have to pack and leave and apply for green card to come back .. u cant set in Ethiopia and betrayal Ethiopia that would carry death ...

about losing Eritrean property ... the Meles government give u time to sale your property and get your money but he could not allowed you as enemy of that state u were security risk .. ask your leader who said my people who live in Addis Ababa can bomb from inside the heart of Addis Ababa that is what he said your beloved leader so Meles what he have to do your contract over two years ago when you voted for Eritrea..

let me ask you u idiot Eritrea what was wrong with u, had u voted for Ethiopia . Eritrea still would have break away because they would have got 51% or even 80% your vote would not have any effect at all... those who did not vote or vote for Ethiopia they stay . this is known fact ...so blame your own government if u have to blame someone..

next your government also confiscated property in transit in Assab ... people imported brand new car, and many goods but all were confiscated by your leaders why not cry for Ethiopians who lost their property .. u dont care all you care is for Eritrean property..

as i said the second they vote for Eritrea they will lose Ethiopian passport and their green card to stay and work and live in Ethiopia they should have packed and left two years ago when they voted for Eritrea how many way should i said it.. some even have nerve to suggest why they dont stay as foreigners with visa .. kept all their property.. get the news all their property earn in Ethiopia if they claim they were Ethiopians because they r born in Ethiopia then they will be sued for beytral and the punishment is death.. choice your passion
