EPRDF politics of extreme ethnic based hatred brought the country to the verge of civil war. Somali and Oromia kilils literally waged a civil war in which close to a million people were displaced. Tigray and Amhara. Oromia and Amhara were also on the verge of war in some places. We became the #1 country in internally displaced people of 3 million because of the toxic extreme ethnic politics.
Now PM Abiy is providing a solution to that cancer without compromising on the diversity and federalism of the country. In fact the new party clearly stated that it will have 5 working languages and it will also work to make these languages federal working languages.

Other than crying neftegna blah blah, do you or others have any other alternative that can balance both the aspiration of ethnic groups and also works for the harmony of the country so that we don't end up in a civil war? If you don't have an alternative, then it is better to shut up. What I see until now is shouting and name calling, no alternative to the policy that ended up displacing 3 million people.
