The new election board under Birtukan Mideksa successfully conducted the first ever truly free and fair election/referendum! Great start! I expect at least 20 or more states in Ethiopia if people were given the chance and that is good!

if Birtukan Mideksa is smart she should declare election board is state issue ... each 529 wereda should conduct and count their own vote..

for example we have 19 Current woredas of Sidama Zone are:

we dont add their vote and produce the result what we should have don is majority vote this means we have 19 woredas out of those 19 if 10 woredas vote to become state then the vote win but if 10 of the woredas reject the idea then it fail.. as of now if u add all the vote .. this means if one or two woredas have the number their vote only count ...this is how America conduct voting .. if you have the number it doesnt matter the majority of distract matter this way all small distract vote matter ...

On the 11th hour for the total downfall and collapse of ethnic federalism, people in the partial part of Sidamo province happened to be another unfortunate to get tarnished. The big looters OLF and TPLF, dragged down the partial parts of Sidamo region. If geography and territory is at stake of being an asset for Sidama, they have lost larger territory to the fake Oromiya region of OLF. The fools Sidama who get duped actually tightened the noose around their necks. This is a pure bad luck for the Sidamo province people, they have to work hard to undo this again.

Congratulations to the people of Sidama and the electoral board to have successfully conducted the referendum and to ease the political tension in the region.

But the question is those authorities who are going to be forwarded to administer the newly formed state of Sidama, are they ready to equally serve all the people who live inside Sidama without segregation against none-Sidamas? Just recently, Oromia that was erected a twenty-eight year ago Showed itself how good it is in killing none-Oromos in Oromia.

Quebec is a French province inside widely English Canada. Quebecers are delivering good governance to all Ethnicities living inside Quebec. All citizens including immigrants' rights are fully protected by the state of Quebec under the state law of Quebec which is fully a Frech administration.

Sidama and other nationalities who are in demand of being a state, are they ready to be honest with themselves and with the law they are going to ratify to fully respect basic democratic and citizenship rights of the minorities living inside their future kellel? I don't think so. And I don't think these African baboons will be ready in the next two hundred years for this, at least from what we have experienced in other Kellels thus far so it is an exercise in futility to create more kellels on top of what we already have.
