TPLF leaders should be arrested and their property confiscated. This is not because Addis Ababa has rejected them. But they are despotes who want to benefit only their families. TPLF leaders have killed thousands of Tigray children, abused and used them.

Upto now, the problem has been finding leaders who could challenge TPLF. The support of Tigray to TPLF is tactical, not strategic. TPLF backstabbed Tigray. They have stashed millions of dollars from Tigray people in form of taxes and funds raised by Tigray diaspora. Tigray Development Association is more or less a group that exploits Tigrayans by cheating in the name of development.

We suggested a Tigray Council be called after calling representatives from all districts of Tigray, who are not members or cadres of TPLF. This council should take the day today administration of Tigray until elections are called. This council could be led by intlectuals who are not members of TPLF, who might be availbale. One intelectual is Abraha Desta or other similar independent intellectuals like Nebiyu, a literature associate professor who published a book aboy=ut Enderta.

The Tigray Council should bring to justice leaders and cadres of TPLD.It should stop land grabbing. It should work with the government in Addis for the benefit of Tigray and Ethiopia etc.
