My take is The Oromo conquered The Amhara but were tricked and lost the power. The Oromo were in Gndar but the people do not speak Oromo or do not have Oromo cultural tradition. The Amhara manged to control Ethiopia since 13th century until now by exploiting non-Amharas. Tigrayans were saved the oppression because they were the foundation of Ethiopia and were seen as allies by The Amhara. But Tigray was systematically made weak by Menelik and later Haile Selassie, 2 bush negros who were morons. Haile Selassie oppressed Tigrayans and favoured Eritreans - a moron
