The government in Ethiopia controlled by Amhara. Ethiopia still follows the policy of discriminating and killing non-Amharas. This policy was first practised by Menelik, a local tribal chief the Amharas who controled Ethiopia for 23 years.

Menelik saw non-Amharas as enemies and was killing them to subdue them, which worked for some time until 1974. Amilitary regime overthrew an Amhara tibal chief, Haile Selassie or Teferri Makonnen. The military regime unfortunately followed The Menelik policy.

In 1991, the military regime was overthrown and replaced by TPLF-EPRDF, which for the first time organised ethnic grougs according to their language and territory. Unfortunately TPLF-EPRDF follow the same policy as Menelik in many areas. There was little development in regional state. The whole policy was directed to develop Addis abeba and it's surroundingshe nation financial resources were spent in addis Abeba and surrounding.

Now new group has taken power led a former security officer and a muslim. The aim is to return to the old days of Menelik Haile Sealssi of disadvantaging non-Amhara Ethiopians and killing them to weaken them. This should be stopped and willbe stopped!
