The two mega strategies in solving Ethiopia's problems are Abiy Ahmed's Medemer and Isaias Aforqi's' Game Over.

Initially Abiy favoured Game Over against TPLF and Medemer in the rest of Ethiopia. This turned out to be so successful that in just few weeks time it relocated TPLF half to Maekelawi and half to Mekelle. Abiy then prematurely wavered, switching to Medemer even against the TPLF, which was such a huge mistake. As any schoolchild knows, when you add positive numbers and negative numbers the name of the equation becomes Meqenes and not Medemer, and the result goes towards zero.

The way Abiy is currently playing the game, the equation has no positive solution. Abiy wrongly tried to apply Medemer to Woyane's zero-sum game. when he needed to follow Isaias' Game Over. Abiy has to understand the powers of Medemer and Game Over, and apply them selectively and not indiscriminately.

The price Ethiopia is paying for Medemer is enormous. The internal displacement of millions of people could have been avoided had Abiy chosen Game Over instead of Medemer in Tigrai.

I agree, Eritrea's future is bright irrespective of what happens down there. But to see the spoiler TPLF taking Ethiopia on a one way trip to hell, when it could have been easily avoided is an African tragedy. Isaias had shown Abiy how to do it, how to frame the issue, he wouldn't even have needed to fire a shot. Just correctly framing the issue, and sharing this understanding with the Ethiopian people would have sufficed.

Abiy after trying Game Over strategy has switched back to Medemer strategy with international support (US Gov't) initally TPLF revolted against Medemer but has no option now other then to Embrace it....Tplf broke all its promises
