That what I have hard time understanding. The Federal government whom these days wants to raise hell with whatever it does should start governing the country with strict laws and regulations. I believe it is a mockery of the Abey Ahmed government when any tiny ክልል ምልል hindering the progress PMAA envisioned and promised to achieve. But promising is one thing, but making it happen is different when as useless as Tigrai state is making an empty "threat" to the central government. In Tigrigna, we call that "ታኒካ ባሕሪ"፡ which means empty tin can make a lot of noise with zero contents to show.
Like sesame correctly stated above, this መደመር (whatever the hell it means)፡ ፍቅር ያሸንፋል" is nothing more than a fine-tune, pleasant to hear. When there are obstructionists as it has been clear for the last 18 months as the miserable and hopeless Weyanes have been doing, it is way past time for the Federal government to act and act decisively against the habitually backstabbing people of Tigrai. Stop the bulshiiiit of "Tigray people are different than the Weyanes", which they continue to honor.
Cut all materials and services that come from the Ethiopian hinterland except food and medicine. That includes any electronic, machinery, and raw products that are required to run the factories in Tigrai that were built by looted Ethiopian largess. Once things like that are done, the Weyane, which is at the brink of political death would have nowhere to go and would immediately succumb to the legal government of Ethiopia. Force and the threat of it is the only language these bandits of Tigrai understand. Anything short of that is simply a waste of time - good only for holding back any contemplated progress at bay to the suffering of the Ethiopian masses outside the comatose Ethiopian elites who live in an unrealistic world of some uttainable pipe dream. That will always remain just that, a pipe dream.
