በአብይ አመድ የተደገፈው የአማራ ፖለትከኞች ሕዝብ ቆጠራ ተቋውሞና በቆጠራው መሰረዝ ምክንያት ሀበሾች ሁለት ጎል አስቆጥረውብናል፡፡ በተለይ ደግሞ ኦፒዴኦ ከነፍጠኛው ሥርዓት ጋር በሚጣመርበት ሁኔታ ይህ ጉዳይ በስትራቴጂያችን ላይ ከፍተኛ ጉዳት ሊያስከትል ይችላል፡፡
1. የኦሮሞ ሕዝብ ብዛት በህወሀት ሥርዓት ውስጥ ሆን ተብሎ ይቀነስ ስለነበር በፓርላማ ውስጥ መቀመጫ ሲደለደል ከብዛታችን አንጻር በግማሽ ያነሰ ውክልና ነበር ለኦሮሞ ሕዝብ የተሰጠው፡፡
2. በአንጻሩ ደግሞ አማራ የሚባል እንደ ህዝብ በሌለበት ሁኔታ ብቻ ሳይሆን ያሌለ ብዛት ተሰጥቶት የማይገባውን የፓርላማ ወንበር አግኝቶአል፡፡ የህዝብ ቆጠራ ተቃውሞአቸውም ይህን ስለሚያውቁ ነበር፡፡

ስለዚህ በነበረው የሀሰት ሕዝብ ቁጥር ላይ ተመስርቶ በተደለደለው የፓርላማ መቀመጫ መሰረት ምርጫ ማካሄድ ለኦሮሞ የሚያዋጣ አይደልም፡፡ እውኔታው የኦሮሞ ሕዝብ ብዛት ቢያንስ 50 % የኢትዮጵያ ህዝቦች ነው፡፡ የአማራ (ቅይጥ) ብዛት ደግሞ እንኳን በሁለተኛነት ሊቆጥር ቀርቶ እውኔታው ከድህጣን እንዱ መሆኑ ነው፡፡

በመሆኑም አሁን በተቀመጠው የፓርላማ መቀመጫ መሰረት በፌደራል ደረጃ የሚደረግ ምርጫ ጉዳቱ ለኦሮሞ ህዝብ ብቻ ሳይሆን ለትግራዋይና ሌሎች ብሔር-ብሔረሰበችም ነው፡፡ የፖለቲካ ፓርቲዎች አጥብቅው ሊያስቡበት ይገናል፡፡

What scares the hell out of weyanes is that they are the minority of the minority. So democracy is not a cup of cake for them. Look at this EPDRF as it is structured now all the four political parties have equal representation when it comes to national decision making. But number wise any of the southern nationalities have more numbers than the total of Tigy residence plus those who live all over Ethiopia. That is a minority of minority whichever way you slice it. Amharas living in Amhara proper plus those living in every part of the country, who have been afraid of expressing their identity because of ethnic intimidation, if they are allowed to declare their identity freely without fear, they will be the majority or close second. So only ethnic craze weyanes are consumed about demography not Amharas -- if not outright majority they are the second largest. Abebe are your related with Adanech Abebe-- just wondering.
