Ambassador Semere Is a no non sense Eritrean hero. He heard our frustrations and addressed it the next day. Thanks to the Odp Mayor for taking action and correcting something provocative and unacceptable act to Us. We expect such things from extremists such acts of claiming a chunk of our country, but not from our friends.
Ambassador Semere thank you for your leadership and service. I hope and pray you have interns learning from you.
I am hoping the Ethiopian gov takes action so they don’t repeat an embarrassing situation in the future.
Dr Z, thanks for sharing

Forget the clothes, Mr fashion critic- qodar agame.

You wanna know, who he is?
Semere Russom (born July 27, 1943), began his professional life as a teacher. He traveled to the United States as a student at the University of Oklahoma, but terminated his studies in 1976 to serve in the Eritrean People's Liberation Front.

After Eritrea's independence he served as Eritrean Ambassador to the United States and Canada. Afterwards he continued his career in public service as Director of European Affairs in the Eritrea Ministry of Foreign Affairs until 2001.

On 2002-01-01 he left the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to become the Mayor of Asmara and the Administrator of the Central Region of Eritrea. In April 2007 he was appointed to head the Ministry of Education while continuing service as the Mayor and Administrator of Asmara, and the Central Region respectively.

On July 21, 2018, he was appointed as the Eritrean Ambassador to Ethiopia, shortly after bilateral ties were restored between the countries.

The hard pill to swallow for you is no Tigrean in the picture. Tigreans are irrelevant in the new Ethiopia and that got to hurt. Ouch ...back to 1991 status.
Do you think Tigray will declare independence or go back to being irrelevant minority? It’s tough choice... either way not many people outside Tigray care.

Zmeselo

i could have pass over he wear a second hand cloth but why in hell he doesnt use one of alteration shop near by him in Ethiopia they r full of alteration shop.. they would have fix the cloth.. second he should buy a second pair of suit ..

now look our mayor beside him he look like male model when our mayor went to DC the mayor fail in love with him and come to Ethiopia baby first impression very important .....when one person first encounters another person .... Physical appearance gives us clear clues as to a person's personality without him/her ever having to speak or move. Women tend to be better

now compere your mayor with us he just look like homeless .. O! God u guys u dont have young guy.. trust me i am not saying this to ridicule u.. i really mean it ... TPLF WERE GOOD CHOICE THE BEST LOOKING GUY FOR THE JOB..

look few example

this is my best photo... towering over USA .. THIS is top class photo

women magnet

Dr. Workeneh Gebeyehu gave briefings on Ethiopia at US Congress .... looooooooooook the girl loook just look

now tell ur old secondhand cloth dresser can do this.. can he attract women.. that is how u make relationship .. win over the women first....

love in the first site Mayor of Washington DC in Addis for Visit... our mayor ice cube

looooooooooooooooooooooooooooove is in the air just loooooooooooooooooooooooooook how she loooooook at him

ayte Ethioash,
If our leaders were as phony as your Armani suit wearers to impress nobody but themselves, we would never have achieved our independence considering the myriad of support your governments have had against self-reliant Eritrea. Clothing is superficial but a love of your country and paying the highest sacrifice is deep in a clean heart, not ጥውጥዋይ: the kind you people are stuck with no hope of getting out of your incessant misery. Deal with it!

He's saying it's a mistake, & we give the benefit of the doubt.

The imortant thing, is that the map is removed from his office.
