Meshrefet was raised in Shire, where he got married and where his 1st daughter was born; however, Meshrefet ended up becoming the worst Tut-nekash, like never seen in the history of Tigray. But Meshrefet's compatriot, Mr Lillpac, who hails from the tribe of Meshrefet, was raised in Mekele and he still lives in Mekele, where he is known to be 70-enderta fan, thus a loyal Tigreanist.
