First and foremost, Abiy is not an acceptable leader among the society. He is considered one of the weakest leader in Ethiopia’s history. Many think that Abiy should be incarcerated for collaborating with criminals. He has let the criminals to roam freely in the country while he has been after peaceful dissidents.He has been trying to enact one law after the other, which is one form of forging his dictatorial power.

By the way, what is hate speech? Who is most affected by this? Groups or individual who are exposed to hate speech are the one who are imposters. We don’t believe that individual or groups who have quite life and history, no need by no means to run away from insults or criticism.
People who hate to hear about their true identities should be removed or isolated from the society for sake of our free discourse.
Similarly, regarding the law to criminalize a person who disseminate false information is not acceptable as this is simply a way of entering into dictatorial rule.

As it is noted, Abiy is not a legitimate leader. In sum, his new law has no place in heart of our society. The previous regime also tried everything to silence dissent but it facilitated his downfall, and today is not different.
