the only comfort u Eritrea have is living in the past glory.. the present is painful to live in the present ... the future doesnt exist in Eritrea . there is no hope.. there is no children in Eritrea there is no young family in Eritrea ... the youngest guy in Eritrea is 77 years old .. all they see is death around them.. so they take comfort in their past glory.. why should i be one more pain in their struggle to live day by day ..no light at the end of the tunnel but they still digging forward knowing that they will die before they reach the end of the tunnel.. and no body to take over ...

Yemane G. Meskel (Minister of Information and Gov't Spokesperson):

Accounts/redacted versions of defamation/subversion made public by GOE in the past weeks establish, without any shred of doubt, that Amnesty, Human Rights Watch, Special Rapporteur, Commission of Inquiry, Somalia-Eritrea Monitoring Group, etc. constituted organic tentacles of the Hydra, that spewed toxic narrative to advance nefarious agenda against Eritrea.

Demonizing labels such as: "North Korea of Africa; Hermit Kingdom etc" were concocted by the same forces, to rationalize/spice up the subversive agenda. Self-styled pundits who parroted/recycled these pejorative labels through main media outlets, were part & parcel of this network.

Even in these historic times of a new dynamic of peace & cooperation in the Horn, those still infected by the virus continue to disparage & cast aspersions, with their half-baked/speculative "analysis", the significance, progress & substantive achievements of the process underway.

Let us recall, Eritrea's impeccable track record in abiding by its treaty obligations. In the Hanish dispute, Eritrea promptly accepted the unfavourable Award; President Isaias sent a letter of congratulations to his Yemeni counterpart & Eritrean forces withdrew well before the deadline.

In any case, what is imperative now is not to hark back to the past but to look into the future with positive energy. Fortunately, to look at the glass half-full with hope & optimism; to forgive, if not forget, past transgressions, are golden attributes encoded in Eritrea's DNA.

There are more and more high level meetings happening in Asmara lately, which is dividend of the peace.
There’s a clear need for more five star hotels in Asmara and Massawa beach for sure.

After 30 years of war, Eritrea started massively to improve its economy. From 1991–1997 on the building sector:
1. Nakfa House
2. Blue House
3. Sembel Housing
4. Red Sea Trading House
5. Housing Bank
Imagine what could have been DONE, without the last 20 years of weyane aggression???
