Much of this commentary is out of context in that it has minimal relationship with your scathing attack on Cagjar.
To begin with , Corruption and mismanagement of public funds is inherent in not only Ethiopia but also the entire continent of Africa .There are a few or no clean hands in politics .It is purely a game of thrones and of ofcourse an arena where bigwigs and their sidekicks embattle.
Cagjar may not be the best on many frontiers but he is arguably the best leader the region had in decades .The Man took over the darkest regime in all Somali history .A Tigre backed regime that indiscriminately slaughtered Somalis .Cagjar's folks were the hardest hit in the worst humantraian crisis the region ever witnessed .
Getajew was the accursed dog who ruled and rampaged the region in the deadliest cruel version .Iley was an accomplice as long as he was save and sound .History teaches that colonial overloads prefer weak and insensitive puppets .Iley was so contended to hunt and persecute rival clans and personalities .The later created an oppressive system that massacred Ogaden and the rest along tribal lines .I want tell you tribalism, corruption and genocides were rife in the region before Cagjar emerged .
Though not so efficient Cagjar improved the clan power sharing quota in an attempt to correct Ileys blatant tribal favouritism. To my knowledge, there are no warring tribes in the Somali region but contrary to that , there is a new sense of harmony and Somali-ness in the region .No more tigre dogs ,no more genocides inflicted by the military on the Somalis , No more Habesha land grabbing in Jijiga .There is a newfound freedom of expression in the region .
And finally, there is no more active clashes between Oromo and Somali .That is why the hellbound TPLF are fanning the flames of Afar-Issa conflict .Simply put,the Somali enemy is and has always been one category of people-the habesha as they seem to enjoy the plight of the Somali but are always the first to criticize and undermine our wellbeing by always siding with our adversaries. Take a notice how Habesha media narrated the recent Issa-Afar conflict. Totally shambolic and baised of course !
