The DW article that got German Ambassador in Asmera in hot waters

Post by eden » 22 Oct 2019, 18:07

autocrat from Asmara, who ruthlessly keeps his own people in chains so he can remain in power, is unlikely to enjoy being snubbed under the eyes of the world by a charismatic politician half his age.
This article appeared on DW German. The author is not Eritrean by citizenship nor origin. He doesn't live inside Eritrea territory. So throwing him in jail and losing the key as they did to countless others was not an option.

However, the hgdef rulers decided to get outraged and demanded for correction. I wonder which part the hgdef mendef wanted corrected. Can you find any?

In Ethiopia, for comparison, there are much more piercing articles by local journalists against PM Abiy. Read Temesgen Desalegn's articles and how it butchers the PM and his party. Temesgen lives in Addis where he publishes.

We live in a world where no ruler or leader is able to control the dissemination of information. God help hgdef.

You know, yet don't know at the same time?
He doesn't live inside Eritrea territory.
Yet, he knows the people are "in chains"?

Don't compare Eritrea & Ethiopia because until Abyi Ethiopia has been the aggressor country, hence Eritrea being cautious with the media to avoid fragmentation & division.

Besides Eritrea's grander enemies were the problem concerning this issue, not weyane the condom.

From now on though, since the weyane are dead & their handlers have given up, freedom of the press must be guaranteed.
