For a long time I had believe that the rock bottom foundation of the Ethiopian Idea is founded on 4 unshakeable beliefs - belief in one creator, the supremacy of the individual person, the dignity of work and the brotherhood of all Ethiopians.

In the 2 days, I had heard Abiye assert all of those 4 foundations. He said that 99% Ethiopians believe in one creator and therefore Ethiopia cannot have a leader who does not believe in one creator. He has also asserted the other three in many contexts.

This current national narrative and national dialogue is truly historic and moving !!!
