Why do you report about Rwanda as an Ethiopian? Rwanda is a Bush Negro country with no civilisation. This is a western propoganda to divert attention from other developments in Africa. Please respect the people who gave you education and protection and assume they are Ethiopians.

Rwanda cannot be Singapore, believe. They donot have the natural resources. The people are primitive to create new technologies. Why should such big company be intersted in having it's manufacturing plant resourced to such a smal country as Rwanda???

Let me stop you right there. I am Eritrean.
And, as a Horn of African, I am glad to see a success story like Rwanda, albeit with some human rights challenges. Rwanda is the closest thing to Singapore, like it or not.
As far as resources, Singapore is a city nation without natural resources as well.

Rwanda to Launch Volkswagen's Electric Car

Rwanda to introduce Volkswagen's electric car, the e-Golf on 29 October 2019 at the Kigali Convention Centre.

By Takudzwa Hillary Chiwanza. October 19th, 2019

Rwanda's position in Africa as a preferable destination for technological advancement is taking deeper roots as the country is set to be the first in Africa to introduce Volkswagen's electric car, the e-Golf. Volkswagen is one of the world's ten leading manufacturers of electric vehicles.

For Rwanda, getting fuel comes at a price. The fuel is imported from the Middle East and passes through Dar es Salaan, Tanzania. It is a stretch of nearly 3,000 km. This has given Volkswagen the impetus and drive to launch their electric cars in Rwanda. The electric car, known as the e-Golf, will be introduced as a new initiative on 29 October 2019 at the Kigali Convention Centre.

According to Andrew Kirby, President, and CEO of Toyota South Africa Motors, only 66 electric vehicles were sold last year and close to zero in the rest of the continent. This made Volkswagen look towards Rwanda as their next destination for this ambitious investment, bolstered by what they termed the mental readiness of Rwandans to embrace electric cars.

Thomas Schaefer, the chairperson and managing director of VWSA, said this in February: "We did a grid check-in Rwanda together with GRZ (Technologies) and Siemens last year and they are ready. They already get their electricity from 70 percent renewable energy and that will change to 100 percent in the next 10 years.

"They are tracking their fuel from the Middle East to Dar es Salaam, then 3000 km by road into Kigali. What for? They could immediately go electric."

It is this perspective that has necessitated and actuated the introduction of electric cars in Rwanda. It is a market that they hope to get the best and the maximum from. They are ready to make it work. Thomas Schaefer argued that since fuel is expensive for Rwanda, it hampers their foreign exchange reserves and the only way to mitigate this is through the use of electric cars.

The biggest advantage of using electric cars is how they are friendly to the environment and the rest of the ecological system. For an electric car to be considered truly ecological, renewable energy is supposed to be harnessed. This means that an electric car must be charged with renewable energy coming from the wind, sun, hydro and biomass.

The VW electric cars are also a vital part of their ride-hailing plans. Their ride-service app, "Move" now has over 23,000 registered users in Kigali. Only around 2,200 are active users. For VW, this is still pretty much of an experiment.

VW is combining new car sales, ride-hailing, car-sharing, used car sales, parts and service in making solid investments in Rwanda which it hopes will be worthwhile, and can be spread to other African countries and regions as well.

New car sales for Africa is an important development so that the continent develops a culture of being detached from second-hand cars.

Rwanda is Doing Far Better than so-called "Stable PFDJ-stalled Eritrea". The facts and stats don't lie. Rwanda faced far more external enemies than Eritrea and still facing them.

Who are PIA's so-called "powerful enemies" that have stalled everything in the Country in 2019? Since 2018, nothing has changed in Eritrea for the Betterment of Eritrean people.

FACTS:
1. No Constitution (NONE) and PIA made sure to let everyone know that there will not be a Constitution in Eritrea so long as he is alive (Assassination-request alert)
2. Borders closed with Ethiopia, Eritreans NOT Allowed to Leave Eritrea especially to Ethiopia.
3. PIA-originated conflicts with Sudan, Djbouti still on-going.
4. PIA/PFDJ continued conflict with a Weak opposition party in Ethiopia (aka TPLF), if GAME OVER, PFDJ/PIA keep using TPLF to maintain a "Lawless, Anti-Constitution/Democracy/Freedom/Human Rights regime/order" in Eritrea.

5. US and Eritrea have Political Relations to this Day even as PIA claims of a Western consipiracy
6. UK, EU, Norway, Sweden, etc and ERitrea still maintain Political Relations, Eritrea still takes Foreign AID from these countries while PIA claims of a Western Consipiracy!

Which is the case, PIA/PFDJ, are you a Beggar Who Wants to be a Chooser from those giving you AID to continue to your Regime of Nonsense? Nothing in Eritrea makes sense to any Rational Human Being, hence why Ration Human Beings in Eritrea just Leave Eritrea to seek places where Rational Governments are including EThiopia.

PIA is the Problem in Eritrea.

First everyone is happy for our non-hasadat (non-woyanu) africans in any corner of africa.

I see that Awash/pastlast have become overnight experts on Rwanda. Based on observations on Mereja forum, I only know them to be experts on dic'riddin. Yesterday they were pumping their chest because of woyanu, then they jumped to the financiers/handlers of woyanu, then to the UN & neo-colonial human rights groups, then to Nambia, and now to Rwanda. They are displaying the classic woyanu everything is for sale culture to any potential customer...even ATM is thrown in for free in the deal.

Now you 2 woyanu Rwanda experts can link all sorts of good development articles written by interest/investment groups...even i have myself 😁...but can you give us the nitty gritty?? Investors are looking at Rwanda and that is good but what is Rwanda offering them? What are the Rwandan people/govt getting in comparison to the investor nations?

Low tax incentives (tax havens)? Cheap raw products? Cheap workforce? Stable internal politics? A better public education system? A better healthcare system? What does the average Rwandan benefit in comparison to the investors? Manufacturing produces a lot of waste, are these companies being held to the same strict environmental laws of their country of origin?

What are the external enemies of Rwanda you speak of? Was Rwanda under sanctions in 2000's for nearly a decade?, if so, how long & did scope of sanctions indirectly target their economy? Were Rwanda people targeted for human trafficking by UN & criminal networks? Was one of their neighbors in a lengthy war with its neighbors for decades while international community stood on the sidelines?...and only stepped in when it appeared they were getting the upper hand?

Most importantly, Rwanda is also a gateway to the resource rich Democratic Republic of the Congo...a nation/people that western capitalists have always eyed to exploit further back than the murderous King Leopold II of Belgium. Are the products that would be manufactured in Rwanda being sourced from raw products of Rwanda or raw products of neighboring DRC ?? Would Rwanda be involved in the politics of DRC, ie propping up one faction against another??

Last but not least, are any woyanu billionaires sneaking/washing their stolen money thru investments in Rwanda?? 🤔

Anyways, i hope the Mereja experts on Rwanda (Awash & pastlast) can answer my genuine questions...instead of continuing to display their dic'riddin abilities.

(I am sorry this was quickest video i could find that the google/filtered brings up...i am sure there are far better ones out there)

I recommend you examine the Problems of Eritrea first before you start Asking about Rwanda which is Clearly doing Better than Eritrea with a Very Similar if NOT Worst Background (Historically speaking):

Hasawi/Tersarawi/Hasawmeselo!,
I recommend you examine the Problems of Eritrea first before you start Asking about Rwanda which is Clearly doing Better than Eritrea with a Very Similar if NOT Worst Background (Historically speaking):

PIA is not a rational human, he is completely Ego-driven narcissist who has no positive vision goal for Eritrea!

Dic'riddin fes'sam pastlast,

You and Awash, self proclaimed experts on Rwanda, brought up a comparison of Eritrea. I am just simply asking for details of your comparisons and to see that the starting points & roads were equal of the 2 nations.

So i ask you again:

*What are the external enemies of Rwanda you speak of?
*Was Rwanda under sanctions in 2000's for nearly a decade?, if so, how long & did scope of sanctions indirectly target their economy?
*Were Rwanda people targeted for human trafficking by UN & criminal networks?
*Was one of their neighbors in a lengthy war with it for decades while international community stood on the sidelines?...and only stepped in when it appeared they were getting the upper hand?

Also you stole my similar font/color scheme...copycat...and you want to call others dic'riders??
GTFOH gohaf...get the f' outta here gohaf!! 😁
