I know the culprits in the video. If someone grew up in Asmara, he would understand it. It even brings back nice memories.
The dogs that you see in the video are not stray dogs. They are well fed by the children of Asmara and they are nourished neighborhood dogs. Actually each dog has unique name. When I was a kid, we had no less than 5 dogs in our street, our immediate next street had the same or more number of dogs. When the municipality police act to collect our dogs, all of us run with the dogs playing hide and seek with the municipality. Actually it was a lot of fun when that happen and always we won. Looking back to it now, I know we made it harder to the municipality workers. But dogs are very much loved in Asmara and they were big part of our lives, neighborhoods basically feed them. Only when there are complaint of unattended stray dogs did the municipality took action. For most part the dogs are peaceful and are tolerated. It is typical to see one or more child walking with dogs in Asmara. I am telling nothing new if you are raised in Asmara. So people who are trying to use the video for political purpose are dishonest. Facts are much more effective than nonexistent propoganda videos.
By the way I love what I saw here in the video.

I agree with my Weyane boss kerenite/eden that, in our democratic nation of Tigray, we treat our dogs like humans and give them nice names that remind us of ourselves.
