He wasn't called "World class mind!" for nothing!
BTW, Meles is part Raya Oromo and Kunama according to Prof. Tecola Hagos; possibly passed the torch to HD on purpose; now HD to Abiy; they're all EPRDF anyway, still promoting his line of thought DS, as we know it.
Be that as it may, no one allows or disallows Oromos to speak their own language. If anything, as the "rulers" of Ethiopia today, they need to be humble enough to teach their children from the get go; I take it that is the wish of Abiy's government. Amharic is the language that everyone (99 ethnic groups) speak. Isn't it? Tigrigna came straight from geez but, after Amharic. Amharic is highly developed; enriched by taking from all ethnic groups. Atse Yohannes used Amharic to correspond when he was king of kings of Ethiopia. It has to be because he was not a village king. Don't you think so?
Cheers!

Oh she is mentally disturbed! I haven’t seen such ugly women and I don’t blame her for anomalous character.

forget Atse Yohannes, even Meles use Amharic as fed. language what is your point ... do u think Atse Yohannes has access to xerox at that time to change font as he need it...king haile build the palace but መንጌ እና መለስ did not አላፈረሱትም የአይሌ ነው ብለው sometime we have to think .. at Atse Yonannes time changing language might not be easy .. writing is like rocket science only few might master at..
anyhow even all British colonized nation are using English as their fed. language so what is your point again? Atse Yohannes using Amharic is not acceptance of Amhara የበላይነት in fact he move the capital city to Golden city..
so if u think just because Atse Yohannes use Amharic we all should use Amharic .. then i will accept it when we move the capital city to Golden city because that is what የበላይነት did u cant pick an choose..

Atse Yohannes used the advanced Ethiopian/African language then, it is the most advanced today. We were not colonized so the decision wasn't done by Europeans for us. Tigrigna came after Amharic straight from Geez; there are documentations for that. So, as Atse Yohannes wasn't a village king he chose the best to use in the country. BTW, there was no Tigrai state then.
"የበላይነት" ምናምን came from those with some inferiority complex. A real inferiority complex has us feeling that: We should be as good as others. We are not as good as others, but we don't really know why that is. For that you need a therapy; there is nothing Amara can do to help you because they have their own problems.
Ethiopians should take the best practice from their own experience.
A lot has been invested in developing Amharic, music, cloth, dishes etc. by all people so we should keep it. No one is stopping you from developing other languages. Let us continue to share what we have already invested on is what I am saying.
