There's no consensus. However, those who are advocating statehood are growing vocal. TPLF leadership is mostly against it.

This dude still duel in the Derg Era. TPLF did not win the war. all ethiopian people defeated Derg. Now the game is different.
Tigray with out Amhara can't survive a decade.

A tiny new born Tigray , not a single international organization would not recognize , not a single country in the world would dare to recognize , surrounded by friendly Amharus and Tarik . It is going to be fun .
