I don't expect a date in Geez or Gregorian, Persian or Jewish....but place and time which can be centureies long.

Just answer the question. don't talk about other languages. Stick to Oromiffa.

Example Tigrinya:
1. There is a book of law that is now almost a thousand years old verified by available science, that was written in Tigrinya. It has Index (separate by subject like farm landland, marriage, forest, taxes..etc)
There fore Tigrinya is at least 1000 years old.

2. Tigrinya was intelligible with Tigre until 200 years ago. Now you need an intepreter between the two. The two languages are closely linked. They can share history. There is some stone wriiten artefacts from Sahel in Eritrea to Wollo in Ethiopia and Awi in western Ethiopia that is same dociments of taxation, temples of exact replica...etc that are about 3500 years old and similar alphabets and languages. Its safe to say these peoples have existed Tigre/Tigringi for 3500 years.

3. Persians, Greeks, Assyrians...have written about these people. Its safe to assume these people have lived here for more than 5000 years.

4. The Agew have (especially the Qimanti since they were the Priesthood) some anecdotal history about the people that came from somewhere (most likely Yemen), defeated the greeks/Macedonians/Cypriots..and brought new lanfuage, new religion (most likely Judaism) and displaces few Agew peoples. This coincides with what Greeks, Assyrians, Chaldeans, Persians...have stone written and stories told.

5. In order for a society to need law and also to codify the law and then to write and manage libraries in those days, its safe to assume the society has entered feudal system of level of organization. In those days this level of devlopment needed about 1500 years.
