Amharanet, but not Amhara, is Still Dominating in Ethiopia?

The news that Oromo children had to learn Amharinya starting from 1st grade and the procrastnation of making Afaan Oromo federal working language shows us the fact that Oromo elites with Amharanet culture are ruling the country. Amharas have never dominated in Ethiopia for there is no nation called Amhara, but surely Amharanet has ruled the country since 1270 and it is still leading. The Oromo were the rulers of Ethiopia wearing cultural identity of Amharanet, instead of Oromumma. The OLF has tried to teach the Oromo to rule the country with Oromummaa replacing Amharanet. I think, slowly but surely it is becoming succesful eventhough not yet perfect. Is Abiy admnistration different from the other hitherto Oromo rulers, like Yekuno-Amlak, Menelik, Haile-Silasie, Teferi Benti and Mengistu? Is Amharanet still not dominating Oromummaa?

What value is OLF mantra of "starting all over again" with some "Oromumma" going to add by changing what the central Oromos mastered over centuries already? They picked the best practices from all people of country including Amharic as a working language and now can continue using it and add other necessary good practices from all over to continue leading the country without interruption.

Dr. Abiy is the Epitome of that development; We can all learn from him. Why mess with that?
Meles, Jawar, Prof. Ezkael and others can be added as those who traveled across cultural barriers comfortably, with all their drawbacks. We all can strive to be that as Ethiopians. We don't need to start from scratch.

If you have not succeeded for centuries and are still in primitive state of existence, let us move on with what is achieved by our forefathers already. Don't start something that has failed in the past; don't experiment on folks following exaggerated mantra like "geda", with all due respect, as documented by someone who for one didn't speak Afan Oromo. Prof. Asmerom is "fake", who fought by the side of secessionists by helping and justifying to establish a "fake" country; if you ask me. We don't need to re-create a country. For what?

The true Oromos are the ones who built Ethiopia; if they decided to use Amharic as a working language so be it. Keep it and have Afan - Oromo & other languages as another working languages.

We need to start with the following instead today:

*Laws that are the same for everyone, so everybody has the same chances
*Making sure that even the poor can survive with their money
*Making sure that everybody has enough to eat and drink
*Lower the number of crimes
*Make sure that everybody gets at least a bit educated
*Have good international relations, so people will lose their sterotypical thoughts
