Serious question: why an oromo speaking ethiopian immigrant pushed for Qube Latin over geez/amharic?
- are there shortcomings in the geez/amharic alphabet to speak oromgna?
- was it out of hate towards "Absynians" ?
- was it a result of brainwashing by foreigners
- did the guy get sponsorship for his study/research

the oromo can say anything they want but the main reason is they have to destroy Amahric if they want afan oromia to develop.. so the easist thing to do is not learning Amaric ፊደል... the second problem is those buda amhar lie to everyone that Amharic have it own ፊደል which is wrong ፊደል belong to Tigray or Axumiate.. so the oromo had wrong association with ፊደል and Amhara
i used to remember those buda amhara used to say Amhairc become our national language because Amharic have it own ፊደል, give me break.. had king Haile accept ሱዋሊ ( swahili)as African language when they started AU, IN Exchange ፊደል be used to write ሱዋሊ( swahili) by now all Africa would have used ፊደል ... but the buda king haile want the Amahirc also become an African language this turn off the African and they use swahili instead..
what i am trying to say is had the Buda Amhara was truthful and tell everyone ፊደል doesnt belong to them it belong to Geez the oromo would have been interested using it .
