The word “University” came from the Latin universitas and it is related to the word Universe, which means “whole, entire” implying that such an institution is sort of a world of its own — an independent center for higher education where students from various backgrounds study, research and live. Promoting such diversities and a dialogue among the student body and faculty by bringing together a diverse array of ideas is the responsibility of such academic institutions.

Wolkite University is clearly heading in the right direction and it appears to fully satisfy the qualifications of a University unlike some of our tribal-oriented universities that promote students and teachers to retreat into the physical, digital and psychological communities that they came from and where they feel safe and comfortable.
