Family based (parents & children) begging is a culture for Halafi Adgi's ethnic group. Such a trend was started a long years ago. After the Italian invasion, it was common to see a large group of family members deployed for begging in the streets of Asmara, Addis Ababa. Diredaw, Gonder, Bahir Dar & Jima. Such a trend continues until now. In one of the topics, Halafi Adgi argued that his sister used to beg 40 years ago & the trend was no more existing soon after Halafi's family members started to loot emye Ethiopia. However, his beggar sister was found in one of the streets of Addis Ababa with her uncountable number of children. She told to one of her relatives that she has lost Halafi, her elder brother aged 78 while they were deployed for begging.
