One of the current top Mekele football team's players, Anteneh Gebrekiristos, is right to say Tigray could easily produce the best footballers in Ethiopia and even in the world, as they are omnipotent agazians in origin, thus there is no reason why Tigreans can't be the Brazilians of Africa-- all they need is to have more football academies like this amazing institution in Mekele led by former top Ethiopian footballers: Amanuel of Dedebit and Yohannes of Mekelakeya team. Anteneh G/Kiristos himself is a product of a Tigrean institution that predated Biruh Tesfa. Mekele FC's best player, Amanuel Gebremichael, who hails from Rama town in AdiarbaEte, is also a product of his Mereb-Leke wereda highschool's football academy.
