It’s always been associated with duplicity, treachery, lies and backstabbing. I remember my uncle quoting an Italians saying "ጸጊቦም አይገድፉኹም ጠምዯም አይገድፉኹም" It means "ጸጊቦም ክወሩ ክመጹ ኢዯም እንተ ጠምዯም ክልምኑ ክመጹ ኢዯም" - we will never have peace with Tigrayans!
