The headline is misleading, though. It makes it look, as if the ceremony never happened.

Constant bashing & demonizing of Eritrea by Naty Berhane Yifru, has become a norm.

After his recent tweets however, I was eager to know the motives for his meddling.

Compassionate (human rights) or to create divison amongst Eritreans, for other hidden agendas?

HR's are universal & no issue with Naty advocating it to Eritreans, as long as he isn't doing it:

>>To inflame division/discord/tension.

>> For financial gains.

He must also stand for all, including for his own ppl. Did he? To find the answer, it's important to dig into his old tweets.

What was 'justice seeker' Naty's stand, during the 2015-17 Ethiopian uprising against the brutal TPLF rule, which resulted in the massacre of countless Ethiopians?

Vehemently opposed the massacre, or aligned with the perpetrators?

If aligned? Motives? Financial, ideological, ethnicity?

Directly/indirectly, Ethiopia was under the minority TPLF rule for 27yrs. It was achieved with fake elections & unchecked support by the west, especially the US (S. Rice).

Naty's take, on 2015 Election:

EPRDF (aka TPLF) won all seats, & Naty defended the results & its mechanism.









Why Naty blindly defended the election result, makes all alarm bells ring!

But a few months later, the TPLF mercilessly massacred ethiopians to quash the uprising.

But, Naty didn't condemn it. On the contrary, defended TPLF's actions. Why did Naty deny the obvious?

I let ppl, come to their own conclusions.









Here are some, of his defensive & offensive postures. It almost feels like, as if he was legitimizing the massaccre.

@Tigray_Legend & @ThatEthioBoy, well known TPLF diehard supporters, were also happily approving the massaccre.

Why the denial? Happy to hear reasons, from others.









The below Naty's tweets are bizarre. He clearly tried to mask TPLF heinous crimes, with a good news & also tried to reassure a TPLF supporter.

Again, why one go to that extent in trying to hide an obvious (open secret) massaccre & even willing to damage own reputation?

What he failed to realize was, by then the entire Ethiopian people were mourning by the deaths & destructions unleashed on them.

But Naty, somehow, managed to immunze himself from the pain his compatriots were going through. Motives?

Again Naty continued defending, justifying the massacres the TPLF was unleashing on innocent Ethiopians.

Sometime he attempted to involve Eritrea unnecessarily, probably out of a desperate act.

Again why? Anyone with an answer?









If you compare Naty's tolerance towards the TPLF barbaric crimes & his anti PM Abiy rhetoric, it becomes obvious that Naty's concern has nothing to do with HR in Ethiopia.
So what is It?

Could Naty be a TPLF paid lobbyist? Plausible?

I don't know but happy to hear from others.

Finally, my question to Naty Berhe is:

You remained silent, when YOUR compatriots were being massacred by the TPLF in broad daylight. Why are you now shedding crocodile tears, for Eritreans?

Your motive?

Why were you defending, the TPLF? What was the incentives, if there were any? Regrets, If any?
