Ambassadors of Egypt, Eritrea and Kenya accredited to the Republic of the Sudan planted trees at the Ethiopian Embassy on the occasion of the nationwaide #GreenLegacy campaign aimed at planting a record breaking 200million trees in a day.

The honerable Ambassadors of the three brotherly countries expreessed their gratitude to H.E Ambassador Shiferaw Jarso for being part of this noble campaign and admired the intiative taken by Ethiopia to plant 4billion trees as part of its efforts to combat deforestation and the drastic effects of climate change.

The planting of the trees by the Ambassadors is a clear testament of the longstanding spirit of cooperation that exists among the four countries tied together by the waters of the Nile.
