They were thousands of Amharu serving the Italian armies per the agreement Menelik made to the Italian government in Asmara. You can see those "Ayferam Gobez" are pure Amhara not Akele, at the time no one speaks Amharic even in Tigray. The shameful history still haunt us, they pourd mustard Gas on the Tembien people in Worqa Emba- Wersege cemetery from the first war.
In that war on the ground Wer'ee my own father was fighting leading a group of resistances against Italian while the plane were pouring muster gas on our people.
