In a recent interview with Tigray TV (I guess) Prof. Merera Gudina said the following:

“democracy means all about having differences in the opinions of each other and still be able to live together without resorting to eliminate one’s political opponent but debate each other peacefully and legally to win one's cause without resorting to violence against each other”.

A man who is known to foretell matters that many of us on the scene can't even imagine will happen, a prophet in this sense.

I just hope that many young Ethiopians on whose hands the fate of this great country will lie in the future will listen carefully to his wisdom and try to understand what he is trying to say when he says this and other powerful messages.

It is priceless in my view specially looking at the environment in which he said this.
