There is a saying in Harari language

Post by Medo » 22 Jul 2019, 10:56

When a species of bird (I forgot its name) settles in a land it settles for few days and leave. But when Amhara settles in a land, it settles for permanent and finally declares the land itbelongs to me. They say an ethnic group came to Ethiopian as Ethiopia was there before the ethnic groups. The other funny thing is that when Amhara settles in Oromo land, he says oromos came from Madagascar. When He settles in Gambela he says Gambelans came from Uganda, when he settles in Benishangul, he says they came from Sudan, when he settles in Harari, he says they came from abroad, etc...when he settles in omotic Yam zone of south, he says they came from Yemen, when in Argobba Arab gabba
