Some EPLF members were training some TPLF members in fighting, in sahel, I believe.

As an oromo history nerd, i love all the history i can learn about the horn of africa.
for example, not too long ago, i found out a lot of oromos served in the italian native battalions in eritrea.
some were taken from my clans area in southern oromia. so we are more linked than we/i know.
