British women flew fighter jets during WWII and Ethiopian Airlines boasts of having women only crew !

Post by Democrat » 19 Jun 2019, 10:43

Ethiopians boast because they do not know the level of development other countries have gone through. The first woman pilot was celebrated in Ethiopia as a great event. But women in Europe have been flying jets and givng their dear lives to their nations. One example is British women, memebers of The British Royal Air Force, who were fightng Nazi Germany and defeated them by flying fighter jets.

Ethiopain Airlines and the countries policy is based on propoganda to convince the population that Ethiopia is better other countries. The policy is not directed to improve the lving conditions of the people and to exapnd industry. Their industries are based in the capital city and about 30km radius.

Ethiopians airlines should stop baosting and rather help Ethiopians live better by expanding the international airports in all regions. Ethiopian Airlines plans to exapnd The Addis Ababa Airport to accomodate about 20million passengers a year annually, which will be as big as Heathrow Airport in London, UK.

The Menelik legacy is dragging Ethiopia backwards. Practically there is little progress. Companies like Ethiopian Airlines should be disciplined. They should be told to work for Ethiopia as a whole. There should be international airports in all regions. The celebration of the first woman capatain is nothing comapred to what the European women have done in the past and are doing now.

The current PM has no vision and seems he appointed by powers that be to stop that little development Ethiopia was registering. Even under TPLF, there was little practical expansion of the air transport in Ethiopia. The Air Force should have been based in Mekelle because this means more epansion for the country as a whole. The Mekelle and other airports should have been made functioning international airports. TPLF did little to improve the air transport in ethiopia. TPLF was just following the Menelik policy of strenghthening the centre at the cost of the peripheries. This should be stopped. The peripheries shold the centre of economic development.
