proposed parallel government at Adama

Post by Bwendimu » 24 Dec 2017, 00:52

Should Oromos create an alternative parliament in Adama and invite others to join them there?

Since there is no will from TPLF side to either hold elections or surrender power in peaceful ways it is an appropriate to establish another government at Adama and invite interested ethnic groups to join Oromiya and create another paralal government that accept democratic federalism. Once this paralal government is launched it declare TPLF as illegal party on ground of terrorism act just the way the did to OLF.
This new government will create new security apparatus from all citizens and new foreign policy that keep Ethiopian interest. It make a call to the members of armed forces to shift allegiance to the new government and take oath to protect the constitution that was drafted and adapted under Wayane.
The new government shall bring all criminals to book and redeem all looted wealth. It protect all individual and group rights and allow all parties to take part in election.

Bwendimu;

No. A parliament that can't defend/protect itself is as good as a tied-up chicken about to be sacrificed for a fasiika meal. In Africa in general & in brutal Ethiopia in particular, to get anywhere or achieve any thing, you first need to build a competent army.

At the moment, the Oromo people is a bit like these kids shown in the picture who have the idea of what needs to be done (arming themselves to protect their community) but are yet to figure out WHERE & HOW to get AK47 guns to build an army.

Even when woyane falls &, assuming that Oromos agree to continue to be part of Ethiopia, the very minimum condition should be for Oromos to have their OWN ARMY [bit like an arrangement in Lebanon].

Only complete dills/idiots keep making the same mistakes of leaving the guns in the hands of untrustworthy & inherently blood-thirsty rulers holed-up in distant & indifferent Addis Ababa & hope for the better.

Oromos - or southern Ethiopians - should NEVER put all their eggs in the same basket & hope that the rulers would rule according to the constitution or, some other nonsense like that, which won't work in Ethiopia or Africa.

yaballo

we have enough weapon to go around, in oromia alone, there are many weapon arsenals across oromia and they all under the control of OPDO. when it comes to ak 47 and 50 caliber machine gun they are plenty of them. TPLF can't possibly take them to tigray even though they already took what they can but the one we have now is here to stay. we even have bullet factory in oromia. like the OPDO officials said handing out the weapon to our citizens is the last resort we have. as you all know not everyone is on the same page. the best way is to train federal police and took over our country. like we are doing right now, in a matter of three months, we will have enough boots on the ground.

Oromo people have been subjected to unimaginable exploitation, pain and suffering because of sellout, spineless and cowardice like this guy !! Oromo should kick them out or hung them upside down for treason when time comes. We know from his post this guy probably have been swinging both ways. :oops: :oops: He was cheering Oromo Massacre few months back.

I heard the actual transcript of the proceedings was hacked. Either way, the proceedings of negotiations, what was offered by the different organizations, who agreed to what vice versa should be released to the public so that it makes the call on what is to be done next.

I for one dont even understand what you meant by tplf refusing democracy. What are TPLFs alternative choices?

It seems to me that the choice offered by TPLF is;

1) submit to tigray supremacy or else,
2) break up the country attendant with an all out inter-ethnic wars.

hmm...

Halafi Mengedi's standing thesis.

“If you are faced with a mountain, you have several options.
You can climb it and cross to the other side.
You can go around it.
You can dig under it.
You can fly over it.
You can blow it up.
You can ignore it and pretend it’s not there.
You can turn around and go back the way you came.
Or you can stay on the mountain and make it your home.
