PLEASE LISTEN TO THE WHOLE TAPE. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KZYkAzR10ck
I followed it as long as what is important for now,it is upto people what they think about this now,as for me,it is important to keep this in heart and improve your life.It starts from you no matter how dark.
Alem Mezgebe was back to Ethiopia in the derg time and worked as director of Ethiopian tv.A family of mine used to work there and she said how he spoke fluent English.
Of course you missed Gen. Mengistu Neway because you like the killer. Gen. Mengistu was simply an instrument for Germame Neway who was the ideologue and enlightened person. Why you didn't miss Germame Neway, Wokineh Gebeyehu and Tsigie Dibu?WE MISS GEN. MENGISTU NEWAY
The beauty of December 1961 coup was that both the killers and killed were beast and it reduced the number of beast which were eating Ethiopian people to their bones. I understand Ras Abebe Aregay Bechere and Gen. Mulugeta Buli Gerba were relatively progressive, but they were instrument of the feudal system. Both denied their identity and enslaved by the ruling group.
It is undeniable fact that the 1961 coup contributed for the political change which came after that including the failed coup led by Gen. Tadesse Biru.
