NATO is a criminal organization. It is not a defensive alliance. Engaged in destroying Yugoslavia and Libya. And it is now an active party of the war in Ukraine, a non member state.

The argument that the invasion of Ukraine by Russia brought NATO a lot closer to Russian border is absurd. With or without the war on Ukraine, NATO will attempt to be a lot closer to Russia to harm Russia.

Nations like Finland and Sweden are acting stupid by not looking after their interests.

One has to look at THE MONROE DOCTRINE to understand Russia. Google it.

Ukraine will never be a viable country. Period.

ዩክሬን የዛሬ አራት ዓመት 42 ሚሊዮን ህዝብ ነበራት ። ዛሬ ታዲያ ብዙዎች አልቀውና ሸሽተው ወደ 38 ሚሊዮን አሽቆልቁሏል። ይቺ የእኛ ሰፈር መናጢዋም ደግሞ ፉን ፉን አለችና ከ 6 ሚሊዮን ታጭዳና ተከርክማ ወደ 2 ሚሊዮን ወረደች። ይኸ ዕርግማን ነው።

ዮክሬን በጦርነቱ ምክንያት ወደ 500 ቢሊዮን ዶላር የሚገመት ንብረት ወድሞባታል። እስኪ ዩኔስኮ መጥቶ ይገነባልናል ብለው ዝንባቸውን እሽ እያሉ እንደሚቀላውጡት ሻቦዎች እነሱም የUncle Samን እርጥባን ይጠብቁ እንደሆነ እናያለን።

33 years ago, on December 1, 1991, Ukraine held a nation-wide referendum, in which 92% of voters supported Ukrainian independence — pro-independence voters scored the majority in every single region of the country.

• In Crimea, 54% of people voted for independence from the Soviet Union (57% in Sevastopol).
• 83% of people voted in support of Ukrainian independence in Donetsk and Luhansk regions.
• Voter turnout was 84%. (Normal for the USSR times: nearly everybody voted in the Soviet Union – they were selling cheap food at polling stations. Yes, really.)

A week later, the USSR officially ceased to exist, as presidents of Russia, Ukraine and Belarus signed a document in Belavezha (Belarus) that effectively dissolved the Soviet Union.

According to Kravchuk, he had the mandate for independence from the Ukrainians — but Russia’s freshly elected president Boris Yeltsin was a bit worried.

Kravchuk made a convincing argument: “If an American president visits Kyiv, he’d come to see me. If he visits Moscow, he’d come to see Gorbachev…”

This was the argument that convinced Yeltsin to dissolve the Soviet Union.

You are welcome to comment by quoting my remarks but put it in context.
NATO was stopped in Ukraine. NATO tried to expand into Georgia in 2008 but then stopped. They keep trying. That is why the suggestion of NATO expansion has grown because of the Russian invasion is stupid.
NATO can’t be appeased, it has to be resisted. Nuclear capability and Hypersonic will put them in check.

Oh those small countries like Finland who are allowing themselves to be used by the West are now at the front line of the fire. They didn’t look after their interests.
The US is protected by two oceans, yet the smaller countries in Europe who are neighbours to Russia are hosting a nuclear armament. Stupidity.
