That is a very sensitive question you asked!
Some say Eritreans are ጎንደሬ
As you noted they have Tigrian mix
And the Ethiopian military kids
All that makes them Ethiopians with unhinged behavior

Ethiopian national identity is an artificial identity am i an Ethiopian i never considerd my self Ethiopian yet i belong to Ethiopia because Menelik conquered my region some where in the late 1800s. But they never asked me do you want to be an Ethiopian

Eritreans are Eritreans their country makes more sense then Ethiopia ita cultural identity it has togetherness and its people seem to have one vision and ideology for the most part

No that is a lie!
How can our identity be superficial when we are born and grew with it? It is in our blood pal!
The problem rose when the EPLF/TPLF/EPRDF/OPDO/PP/OLF garbages succeeded in installing Ethnofascism in the country. We are still pristine Ethiopians. Ethiopianism is our default self even if politicians and cadres try to trick the softhearted. Of course there are opportunists and outliers like yourself. That happens even in bigger nations. Don’t overgeneralize

Ethiopia national identity never really happened existed it was a creation of Amhara feudal lord . Hence the gallas didn’t even subscribe to it . Only recently they have found their Ethiopian identity if you go to Somalia and affar and gambeele they never viewed them selves Ethiopian. They just found them selves in the empire it was ment to happen what meles did which was ethnic federalism now there is a sense of pride between the peoples.

It warms my soul and makes me smile from ear to ear, to see brother tegaru energy embrace his agame roots in an attempt to reunite with his kebessa kin in eritrea. Nothing wrong with genuine attempts at reconciling people.

Tigrayan brother zack,
I know you're just trolling. But I'll comment nonetheless.

However, Ethiopia like most (if not all) countries was built by force in some places and by consent in others.
Essentially, all countries or nation-states are man-made, as the concept itself is.
Eritrea began as what? As the Italians purchasing what became assab from an afar leader. Italy colonized it in 1890.
It's not like it always existed in its present form..just like any other country.

In regards to Ethiopia, the afar are among the most patriotic, that is something Noone doubts. In regards to the Oromo, yes some segments didn't identify as such, for various reasons, but the truth is many do as well. Not only that, Ethiopia would not exist without oromo military muscle. Menelik himself had his life saved by oromo plenty of times. The people back then identified more with their province which were usually mixed. Wollo, Shawa, Gondar, Gojjam, etc.
I have yet to see any gambellans refusing to identify with Ethiopia, somalis I can understand, but the truth is, I have seen and heard a lot who do not mind a federal Ethiopia, that gives them and others autonomy.
If there were a genuine desire to secede, we'd see them waging wars by now. Also, the OLF who was a member of the TGE in the 1990s played a huge role in making the current federal arrangement as well; a minority group, the tigrayans even in spite of the tplf being the 2nd strongest armed group (after shabia), would not have been able to implement it anyways without cooperation from the two giants of Ethiopia, Oromo fi Amara.

Here is the great Eritrean hero Yonus Ibrahim. He passed away years ago.
Some guy is singing his popular song. For those of you insulting Tigrayans, be careful. Some of them were far more patriotic Eritreans than you are.
We ER members are tired of posting your irrelevant heroes to us. Why distract Tigrayans, you have always been Jebhan trying to take over Tigray. You are no Tigrayan nor your irrelevant singer. Go post it on Asmarino

The guy did okay. Yonus had a great voice. BTW, Yonus was patriotic Eritrean.
General Tedla Oqbit formed Police orchestra with the likes of Yonus Ibrahim to send messages directly to Haile Sellasie.

You maybe recent Er member. He is lying to you, he is a foreign enemy probably working for Egypt or others. He is here to make sure Ethiopia and Eritrea have always been distinct so he has influence on both countries. Dont discuss with him seriously

Sadacha,

Primitive Galla, ጋላም ሰው ነው ? Yes, the Agame is far more closer to me than you are. Not only Geographically but ethnically wise as well. Next is the Amhara. However, Eritrea is a separate country as Ethiopia is. Your gala behind is as foreign as the Kenyan is. You could be an ally or a nemesis. Well, you are an African fellow. You mean to me as much as the Guragie does lol:

Agame energy, of course the agame are closer to you; since you're an agame yourself. Thanks for the truth though, captain obvious.
It's good that you're trying to reconcile with your people though. Best of wishes.

Tegaru brother zack,
Madagascar? Nah bro, we Oromos came from the moon, not there.
We arrived on spaceships in the Horn of Africa in the 16th century and began our great expansion. The forehead thing symbolizes the trophies after routing our foes. To avoid such a fate, stick to being the keyboard jegna that you are.

Watch the Galla 24:49. There is no different between the sub-human galla and the Hutus of Rwanda. They learned to cover their body after they were approached by the tere sega eaters.

Savage Galla Sadacha,

Take the Agame di**ldo out of your mouth. Without your masters of the Agame land, you would be running naked today. You know why, your very masters and abusers, the amharas could not forgive the Agame for liberating your aszzz. Once they start cooperating with the Agame, they will take your light out. You are better off running back to Madagascar. You know the sub population of Madagascar, your ancestors are from the Barya tribes.
Now, about being Agame, well, they speak Tigrigna. We share culture, etc… I don’t hate Agames except the bad ones. I don’t fall for PFDJ/TPLF politics. Those parties are transient. Eritreans and Tigrayans will live in peace as neighbors like they always did.
