የኢትዮጵያ ብሄራዊ ቋንቋ የትኛውም ቋንቋ ሊሆን ይችላል። ህንድ በጥንት ዘመን በፔሪዢያ ይግባቡ ነበር፣ ከዚያም ኡርዱ ብሄራዊ ቋንቋ ሆነ ፤ አሁን ደግሞ ሂንዲ ነው።
