I'm beginning to believe that Fendadaw's remaining brain cells have become stuck in a state of complete stupidity.

The useless dictator is emulating his Arab friends. The [deleted] reminds about the late President of Egypt Hussni Mubarak

The so-called democracy in the West is not that much different from the situation in Eritrea.

Democracy exists only in academic textbooks. Democracy in the West is nothing more than a farcical illusion of choice to fool the public opinion in order to manipulate and control the great mass of the population.

How come only two parties, which are nothing but the two sides of the very same coin, are replacing each other eternally, albeit they're virtually the same and their only difference is the way they formulate and articulate their rhetoric!

For instance, the West never says anything with regard to Paul Kagame of Rwanda of Rwanda, who claims to have won around 98.7% of the vote in each presidential election in Rwanda, because they know elections in the West are not that better either. Last July, he claimed to have won his fourth term with 99.18% of the vote!

At least PIA has no intention of wasting the meager resources of the country in such a comedy to fool Eritreans and others.

Here is where you wrong , feddy you have not elected him I think he was appointed by an assembly of the EPLF so when was the chairperson of the EPLF he later then just assumed the presidency and never left . Don’t get me wrong I have nothing against afewerki , really nor am I a fan of western democracy African nations should adopt something that works for them . How ever what afewerki did with Eritrea . Is he is removing all creativity of the nation because he is the head of everything the he is the bishops and imam of all mosques churches head of a non existing party head of the country head of the government . There should be some division in power

Now you mentioned Djibouti I have never claimed our president is democratically elected maybe one time but after that it was just the geele show and he just repeats and extends his stay similar like afewerki , it’s just afewerki doesn’t entertain new things where as our president is creative though it’s a farce the president of Djibouti creates his own opposition then the president runs against him and win landslide , hahaha u got to give an a for the effort atleast afewerki How ever doesn’t even bother him self the funny thing about afewerki was he was once asked in 2008 when will u hold elections . Do you know what he said he said in 40 years time lol so afwerki will re aub u. Power another 25 years at least . As for Djibouti dictator the people don’t really mind because he has done great but u will never claim me say that we have a democratically elected president . But there is some division of power we have parliament. Local elections. Etc we even have a prime minister even if he is powerless he is stil a symbol of our nation.

Isayas is a dictator. He is the definition of what a dictator is. Thirty years running, that is a joke. The problem with the whole thing is, Eritrea is too small for him. He is not accountable to the people. He always looks beyond the country. But, Eritrea will survive despite him. It has survived so far. He is aging. What he leaves behind is not far to fetch.
