What is this all about ?The question is not about White Nile countries signing the agreement. It is the Blue Nile that has brought controversy. There are two things, I heard in the video carried in Amharic. 1) The ratification of the Framework 2) Abiy Ahmed's plan about Fano. My take is:

1) The signing of the framework is the worst news Egypt never liked to hear. This news effectively killed Egypt's irrational dream and hubris. Egypt has to accept the new normal. It had better work with Ethiopia than mourning with utterly failed Eritrea and Somalia. Better to keep pace the tide than hankering down with doddering loser Isaias. The problem is Arabs are empty head and noisy. Their noise overtakes their reason capacity. Who on earth really sits with loser Shabia - unless frustrated and loser


2) The assumption that Abiy Ahmed can lure some Fano members by giving power in the Federal is totally unlikely. Fano is not አብን. No Fano leader will play this kind of game. Fano's demand is qualitatively different. Amhara people demand cannot co-exist with Tribal region and tribal constitution of Woyane. Amhara Fano demand is very obvious ( listening to every Fano leaders interview), Fano wants both Abiy and his Ethnic Federation system removed and sanity restored. If Abiy meets the full demands of Fano by stepping down and set condition to ban ethnic region only then would one expect a deal. The establishment of a transitional government could be the starting gauge. One should be fool to listen to traitor Abiy Ahemd. Thus, the news about Fano is untrue. That is kind of Lame-Bora talk. Fano does not give a sh!t, unless the synthetic Fano of Abiy Ahmed with all his ads are pretending one.

ይህ ነገር ለኢትዮጵያዊያንም ትልቅ ትሩፋት ነው፤ ማለትም የሚትዮጵያ መንግስትን እንቅልፍ የሚነሳ ጠላት ስለ ሰጠው የውስጥ ፖሊሲ ላይ ትልቅ ተጽኖ ያመጣል ። ለምሳሌ አሁን የብሄራዊ ውትድርና አገልግሎት ሕግ እያወጡ ነው ይባላል፤ እነአቢይ። ግዙፍ ሰራዊት 1 ሚሊዮን የሚደርስ ለመመልመል ይፈልጋሉ ነው የሚባለው ። ይህ ደሞ አሁን ካለው 5 እጥፍ ማለት ነው። ግብጽ አሁን እንደ ጀመረችው ሱዳን ውስጥ ቀጥታ ከገባች ሱማሌ ውስጥም ቀጥታ መዋጋት መቻሏን እንጃ ። ግን እነአቢይ በብዙ ግምባር ባንድ ግዜ ለመዋጋት እየተዘጋጁ ይመስላል።

የ4 ኪሎው ኦሮሙማ መንግስት በግድ ካማራ፣ ኦሮሞና ትግሬ አማጺያን ጋር የሆነ መፍትሄ ማድረግ እንዳለበት የተገነዘበ ይመስለኛል። ካንተ ጋር የምለየው አቢይ አህመድ በድርድር ስልጣን ለቆ በሰላም የሽግግር መንግስት አይመጣም። አንድም ያማራ ጦር በጦር አዲስ አበባን መያዝና አቢይን ባአዲስ መንግስት መተካት ይኖርበታል ፤ ሌላም በሆነ የስልጣም መጋራት ድርድር መደረግ ይኖርበታል ። ወደፊት የምናየው ይሆናል ።

The entry into force of the Cooperative Framework Agreement will have symbolic significance as far as the interests of the Nile Basin countries are currently concerned.

Ethiopia’s internal instability and very weak external relations, especially with its neighbours, including some upstream Nile Basin countries, will not allow Ethiopia to use the entry into force of the CFA to its advantage.

On the other hand, the CFA is not legally binding on both Egypt and the Sudan because they have not ratified it. It is just like the 1959 Nile Waters Agreement between Sudan and Egypt, which is not legally binding on the rest of the basin countries.
