by a single action and makeup for its failure so far at the same time: Recognize Somaliland as an Independent state per de jure and equalize that with the already attained de-facto status. The republic of Somaliland has been independent for over 3 decades but the international community failed to do its job and accord the republic its deserved status of nationhood. This is not the failure of Somaliland but that of the international community.

Now that failure has also precipitated into stirring regional conflict and tensions are heightened and could be deescalated by a simple action of recognizing Somaliland as a defacto and de jure independent state.

That will remove also the causes of current security tensions in the whole region.
