Is tiny Eritrea self-sufficient in food?

Post by AbyssiniaLady » 19 Aug 2022, 18:33

The answer is no and that is why 98 percent of Eritreans have fled the country since 2000, Besides, Tigray's government urges Eritreans to stop using wheat as insults.

Abyss Lady:

No Joe Biden ኡኡኡኡኡኡኡኡኡኡኡኡ crying on the streets would save your Terrorist TPLF AS$ anymore.

The 900,000 dead and wounded Tigrayan youth and picture below will be like children's play if the TPLF's adventure war drum is really in the making.

Picture Below:
Within 14 days after the TPLF massacred Ethiopian Soldiers during their sleep on Nov. 4, 2020 and after TPLF fired rocket missiles at the Eritreans Cities, Towns and Villages indiscriminately.

I don't know what you are reading, the question in the title is, Is tiny under siege Eritrea self-sufficient in food? This thread is about food security not war.

Abyss Lady:

I am reading exactly what your feeble mind is thinking, therefore the same response.

You are shallow and fickle. Anyone can figure you out without exerting much effort.

Again, No Joe Biden ኡኡኡኡኡኡኡኡኡኡኡኡ crying on the streets would save your Terrorist TPLF AS$ anymore.

The 900,000 dead and wounded Tigrayan youth and picture below will be like children's play if the TPLF's adventure war drum is really in the making.

Ethiopia to Sign USD 200 Million Wheat Export Agreements

Ethiopia is prepared to ink agreements which total USD 200 million to supply wheat to non-governmental organizations including the World Food Program. Agreements to sell 3 million quintals of wheat have already been signed with six countries including Kenya and Sudan.

The country expects to produce 52 million quintals of wheat during the current Ethiopian year. It was able to produce 110 million quintals during the last rainy season. The local demand for wheat is registered to be 97 million quintals.

More than three million farmers across Oromia, Amhara, Somali, and Afar Regional States are engaged in wheat production. The Ministry of Agriculture revealed in December last year that it was working to cultivate 32 million hectares of land for wheat production this Ethiopian year.

AbyssiniaLady,

Stop your empty bravado, your country is at the mercy of the donners. If the masters aka the whites stop delivering wheat to your country, well the famous song we are the world will ensue.

Eritrea is poor but I have never ever heard an eritrean died of hunger inside eritrea.

Forget the government, the citizens of eritrea are hard working people, even foreigners witnessed that. Eris won't starve, unlike you abyssinains, eris consider themselves as one family. Besides in worst case we eris who live in diaspora won't allow any eri to starve. BTW our numbers in diaspora are in millions.

Eritrea has lost close to 3.970.000 million of its population out of a population of 4.000.000 million in the last three decades and they are not fleeing from civil war at home but from poverty & famine, Asmara has now a population of less than 5.000 people.
Eritrea is poor but I have never ever heard an eritrean died of hunger inside eritrea.
You are lying, More than 1.000.000 million Eritreans died during Ethiopia's famine.

the citizens of eritrea are hard working people
This a lie, Over 90 percent of Eritreans are alcoholic and drug addicts, Look at Isaias Afwerki, alcoholic and drug user at age 77, he is a crackhead.

I think god has cursed Ethiopia, there are so many different ethnic groups, cultures, languages and so many conflicts and extreme poverty in this miserable hell hole country called Ethiopia.

Let's pray for a peaceful speedy disintegration.
