If EU imposes any restriction on Ethiopia, then that should be more beneficial to Ethiopia

Post by DefendTheTruth » 30 Apr 2024, 13:10

EU, the umbrella organisation of the decedents of former colonial powers that tried to colonize Ethiopia and then failed miserably has always an issue with Ethiopia. Still now.

If this entity tries to impose any kind of diplomatic restrictions and monetary penalties of any kind, then that is a good blessing in disguise for Ethiopia. Ethiopia will reciprocate in kind. they want to make their territories free of Ethiopian refugees, contravening international conventions and statues, recognized and adopted by the UN charter and other conventions.

If they raise fees of visa processing for Ethiopian visa applicants then Ethiopia will reciprocate in kind and also raises fees for visa applicants of all the member states of the block (1 to 27 for Ethiopia).

If they require longer visa processing time for their own diplomats or business travelers, then Ethiopia will also reciprocate in the same way, and we are destined to see who will going to lose more at the end.

The bottom line: they will have an issue with Ethiopia for ever!

One more fact: Ethiopia needs EU today, EU needs Ethiopia tomorrow!

Ethiopia shouldn't allow herself to borrow from her future!

Ante/anchi dedeb, you don't even understand the mechanism behind the so called international aid. They tell you you are hungry when you are not even hungry. And Ethiopia is not the banana republic in the HoA region like yours.

Fiyameta,

you and your likes are burning inside out out of your own jealousy that you espouse against Ethiopia. Otherwise there is no logic for you to rush to comment about this issue, negatively. Unlike Eritrea that has a standing government policy of refusing to accept any of its citizens from EU or somewhere else, in fact it encourages the citizens to go out and send back money, Ethiopia encourages its citizens to come home and share the opportunity it offers to ALL of its citizens, specially since the current government came to power before 6 years. This is on the record!

This African boy has a point, which an institution considering itself a major global one on the planet might have missed:

How is EU implementing a collective punishment on all citizens of the nation of over 130 Millions for the "fault" of perhaps hundreds or thousands??

Is EU a scumbag, not worth of its name? Something must have been wrong with that entity from the get go.

He proposes a [deleted]-for-tat retaliation from Ethiopia, as well.
