This is the independence we Somalis have rejoiced at for the Eritrean people, and we believe that this hard won independence won't be wasted at any time.

Nonetheless, there are serious issues with Afwerki's ruling in Eritrea, particularly with regard to the thousands of political prisoners that have not been tried in any court of law and remain incommunicado to date, which I've posted on a number of threads discussing this extensively.

I wish Afwerki were the president of Somalia, and trust me, there are real fuc'kers to lock up in Somalia much more than in Eritrea. I lived in the same neighbourhood where he stayed in Mogadishu.

Sudanese are the most loyal, honest with great integrity…unlike our neighbor in the South. They have done a lot for us for years and never asked in return while we have done a lot for the people in our souther neigbour but what we got in return from them is betrayal and hostility.

Sudanese people don’t deserve all the evil deeds they have got today. Thank god for the Eritrean government who is sheltering over 200k refugees in its towns and cities among its people, not holding them in refugee camps as others do to them.
