It is now time to relocate the African Union headquarters from Ethiopia to another country, Ethiopia no longer deserves to host the headquarters, With Ethiopia on the brink of collapse due to endless inter ethnic conflict and civil war, It is matter of time before it ceases to exist.

The African Union Headquarters should be relocated to a stable country.

There is NO Stable country in Africa unless you want to relocate to Mekelle, next to your daddy house. Do you know that there was no African country, other than Ethiopia, until the European colonial powers left Africa. It is only between 1945 -1960 that dozen of new African countries "aka independent states" created by Europeans colonizers. Example, Kenya, Sudan, Egypt, Somalia etc.

Dar Es Salaam - Tanzania.

Cape Town - South Africa.

Alger - Algeria.

Cairo - Egypt.

Candidate cities for the AU Headquarters.

The African Union should be moved out of Addis Ababa and relocated to Dar Es Salaam, Cape Town Cairo or Algeria, Ethiopia is a dying country.

Does it really matter where the headquarters of such a powerless, ineffective, unreliable, and useless organisation are relocated to!

Nevertheless, what we forget here is that China is not prepared to fund again the construction of AU headquarters in another country, as the current one in Addis was built with the financial assistance of the Chinese government.

Good point! BTW, the AU and many other infrastructures were built by foreign gifts or "soft" loans. That is one of the reasons PM Abey was complaining about paying some hefty money to Djibouti, although the Djiboutian authorities disputed the price Abiy stated as "Highly exaggerated"! Knowing what we know about the psych of Abiy, it is not hard to believe his exaggeration.

Abiy complains about what Ethiopia is paying to Djibouti, because Ethiopia has the habit to receive ("free money" from the West, as it's the fifth largest recipient of foreign aid in the world), rather than pay.

I wonder what Ethiopia would become without the West or its money!

What's your point? All the countries you mentioned (except Sudan) are doing better than Ethiopia, In fact, Egypt is in a different league and Somalia has a bright future ahead of it.

PS: Somalia was not created by European colonizers, Somalia was recreated by Somalis.

British Somaliland gained independent on 26 June 1960 and Italian Somaliland followed suit five days later. On 1 July 1960, the two territories united to form the Somali Republic, Ethiopia itself (excluding Somali State) gained its independence from Italy on May 5, 1941.

Try to stay in the present.

The African Union headquarters will never move to Arab or land dominated by Arab slaves where the women are covered in large dark and ugly sucks as their fashionable dress where the idiots bomb each other to meet Allah in a short-cut and to be rewarded 70 virgins.
To ensure that the Arabs do not move it out, Emperor Hailesellassie made sure that Addis bars, hotels and brothels are full of alcohol, music, dance, and above all staffed with the most beautiful women and the flesh.
No African diplomat will move to boring capitals where the women are fat and ugly, alcohol is Haram, flesh is covered in ugly over-sized sacks and the rules are Arab enslaved Sharia laws.

Eritrean President Isaias Afwerki said the African Union should be moved out of Addis Ababa and relocated to Cairo Egypt

Riyadh: Fatehelrahman Yousif 09:06-14 November 2023 AD ـ 01 Jumada Al-Ula 1445 AH

In a scathing attack, Eritrean President Isaias Afwerki criticized the African Union (AU), the Intergovernmental Authority on Development (IGAD), and the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS).

Afwerki asserted that the bodies mentioned were “stillborn,” holding them responsible for the political, economic, and social deterioration in African nations.

The African leader added that these organizations were causing the exhaustion of populations, leading them on perilous journeys across the Mediterranean, and subjecting them to Western exploitation, seizing their decision-making power.

The Eritrean president, however, appeared optimistic about Saudi-African partnership, deeming it as a lifeline for the region’s people, rescuing them from the quagmire of underdevelopment and propelling them towards progress and sustainable development.

Egyptian presidential candidate speaks of ‘red lines’ in GERD crisis

Egypt Independent November 29, 2023

Egyptian presidential candidate Hazem Omar spoke about what he called “red lines” in the Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam (GERD) dispute, which he warned would call for “hard force” if Ethiopia crossed them.

During an interview with MBC Masr TV channel, Omar said that his “program regarding water security” includes negotiating as a path but will also fall on “hard force” if forced into it.

He continued, “We must set our red lines so that everyone knows them, because when our partners know our red lines, there is no attempt to cross them, because once crossed there can be no negotiations or understandings, and my duty as President is to protect the Egyptian people’s right to life.”

“We must have constants in the negotiating process, including agreeing on the rules for filling, operating the dam, exchanging data, and concluding a binding legal agreement.”

Omar explained, “We asked the Ethiopians to reduce the filling rate if the Blue Nile’s revenue reached 43 billion cubic meters annually, and to slow down the filling rate if the Blue Nile’s revenue reached 40 billion cubic meters annually, and to stop filling completely if the Blue Nile’s revenue reached 37 billion cubic meters.”

He noted that the average revenue of Blue Nile is 48.5 billion cubic meters annually.

“If the Blue Nile’s revenue falls below 37 billion cubic meters after five-seven years of extended drought and Ethiopia continues to fill, this is one of the cases of calling for hard force. The other matter is that if Ethiopia begins building water-consuming irrigation dams with a storage volume that affects the share of Egypt, this is also a red line.”

Omar assured that he would not wait for Ethiopia to cross these “red lines,” referring to the tools by which Egypt imposes pressure while utilizing soft power so long as Ethiopia does not cross the line.

Eritreans and Tigrians are in pain because the AU headquarter is in Ethiopia.

Ethiopians, get rid off these human garbages from your land and you will have the greatest peace.
Take the boldest move in getting rid of them. Introduce the death penalty for treason if caught or implicated in hurting Ethiopia for those who are intermarried.
Pay for the properties they owned before deporting them.
And then they will eat each other.

If that is your belief then why spend 24/7 on issues of Ethiopia on an Ethiopian website. Totally giving up on the Italian made banana republic.

Egypt knows Ethiopia is a landlocked country damaged by unending misery and crisis and home to more than eighty five different ethnic groups with different cultural and linguistics back grounds who despise each other, A country that is divided beyond repair.

More than 150 Amharas were brutally killed just last week in Arsi zone, Oromiya.

Ambassador Massinga Visits Semera, Afar to Assess U.S. Engagement in the Region

Ambassador Massinga was welcomed by Afar Regional President Awol Arba.

Semera, November 29, 2023 – In his first official trip outside of the capital, United States Ambassador to Ethiopia Ervin Massinga visited Semera, Afar to discuss with regional leadership and elders the longstanding partnership between the United States and the people in the Afar region and across Ethiopia. He also visited U.S. government-supported health and development projects supporting the Afar people and refugees in the region.

Ambassador Massinga was welcomed by Afar Regional President Awol Arba and other regional officials. During their meeting, they discussed opportunities to strengthen United States’ engagements in Afar and efforts to advance peace. Ambassador Massinga stressed the need for close collaboration to ensure that the recently restarted food assistance for refugees and the broader population reached those most in need. The Ambassador emphasized his concern for the protection of civilians, restoration of services, and importance of addressing the underlying political, economic, and security challenges.

Ambassador Massinga also met with Afar’s police commissioner and visited the ten vehicles donated by the United States earlier this year to support the Afar Regional Police in their effort to enable the safe passage of goods and services to those in critical need.

Ambassador Massinga met with local leaders to hear their ideas on how to advance peace in the region and build stronger cooperation between the United States and the region.

Ambassador Massinga visited Asaita Refugee Camp, one of three refugee camps in the Afar region, to observe the improved distribution system for delivering food to the refugees, and to visit a nutritional stabilization response center, which helps to save lives and alleviate suffering for some of the most vulnerable.

The visit provided an opportunity for the Ambassador to assess the United States’ ongoing projects in Afar and strengthen the Embassy’s longstanding partnership with local institutions. In 2022 alone, USAID/Ethiopia invested more than $1.8 billion across the country in humanitarian and development aid. These projects are examples of continued cooperation between the American people and the people of Ethiopia.

The Ambassador also plans to visit Tigray and Amhara in the near future.

Wondering under what pressure one can mix oil and water.

"16th to 20th centuries. Bantu and Oromo adult and children slaves (referred to collectively as jareer by their Somali handlers.) were purchased in the slave market exclusively to do undesirable work on plantation with oversight from the Arabian peninsula."
