Demarcating the psychological borders

Post by justo » 06 Aug 2019, 15:39

Thanks to the Border Commission's adjudication of the matter and Abiy's full acceptance of it, no ambiguity remains any longer regarding the physical boundaries between Ethiopia and Eritrea, but psychological borders are even more important than physical borders.

Due to the enormous enthusiasm for peace among Eritreans, there were some mistakes made early on during the recent thawing of relations between Ethiopia and Eritrea and the importance of the psychological boundary was not fully appreciated.

The woyane, by their dastardly acts, and their ኣሕዋት ኢና, ህዝብ ለህዝብ and ኣግኣዝያን ኣሽካዕላል, they have helped us appreciate the extreme importance of psychological borders.

Now the Eritrean government is working fully in clearly demarcating the psychological borders between Eritrea and Tigrai.

Prof Asmerom Legese did a great job in delineating the psychological border between Eritrea and Tigrai, I see his work as important as the work of the Eritrea Ethiopia Boundary Commission
