Do Eritreans have to go this extra mile to get this elementary information that the government should have provided, unasked in the first place ?

Can't you see the contempt that this evil junta has towards the Eritrean people ? They just go and lock everything up, without prior notice whatsoever ! And they believe that no one has the right to know why !

Benn,

if you read the article carefully, all the business owners were notified in 2015- after the issuance of the new Naqfa currency- of the coming changes but, some apparently, decided to not obey the law. Out of 58,000 businesses assessed, this 450, will be punished with a closure of 1 to 8 months.

Plus, the article clearly states, the govt has its own home work to do as well, in upgrading its overall performance.
