Ethiopian opposition party UDJ convened its General Assembly in Addis Ababa today
Ethiopian opposition party Unity for Democracy and Justice (UDJ) has convened its general assembly today after the ruling-party controlled national election board last week said that the previous general assembly that was held 3 months ago did not meet its guidelines to participate in the May 2015 elections. It is apparent now that the election board is coming up with frivolous new rules to push out the major opposition parties, UDJ and Semayawi Party, from participating in the upcoming elections.
